Aufgabenbeschreibung

• Support in developing reports and preparing presentations in English;
• Data collection, visualisation and analysis;
• Organisational support of the team in projects, at internal meetings and at events;
• Following political debates on the industrial transition across the regions we cover;
• Literature research and study evaluation around the topic of industrial transition at global and regional level.

Erwartete Qualifikationen

• A completed bachelor's degree and currently pursuing a master's degree, ideally in one of the following fields of study: industrial engineering, energy/process or environmental engineering, natural sciences, renewable energies, economics, political science, data science, international policy or other relevant fields of study (enrolled at least for the next 12 months);
• Pronounced interest in analytical issues;
• Interest in climate policy, the decarbonisation of industries, relevant macroeconomic effects and structural change;
• Initial work experience (e.g. in the context of internships) is an advantage;
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and in a manner appropriate to the target group; Confident handling of qualitative and quantitative data; Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail; Confident user knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Very good English language skills, other languages are an asset; A high degree of initiative and motivation, very good communication and teamwork skills, and interest in working in inter- and transdisciplinary groups.
