  • Develop customer strategies and annual account plans covering current projects, next-generation platforms, and long-term cooperation opportunities.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each customer’s business objectives, product roadmap, decision-making process, project timeline, and key priorities.
  • Strengthen customer trust in FinDream Battery’s products, technical capabilities, and long-term strategy. 2. Customer Requirement Identification and Translation
  • Lead or organize technical discussions, requirement workshops, product presentations, customer reviews, and management meetings.
  • Identify both explicit and implicit customer requirements related to cells, battery packs, BMS, thermal management, charging, functional safety, validation, and lifecycle performance.
  • Translate customer requirements into structured internal inputs, including requirement descriptions, business context, priorities, timelines, and major risks.
  • Work with the Technical Lead to assess technical feasibility, product fit, and business value.
  • Ensure that customer requests are understood, clarified, structured, and prioritized before being transferred into the internal organization.
  • Avoid acting merely as an email-forwarding interface. 3. Project Execution and Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work in a fixed Account Pair with a Technical Lead and jointly take responsibility for customer and project outcomes.
  • Coordinate R&D, product planning, sales, project management, quality, manufacturing, and after-sales resources across Europe and China.
  • Track key project milestones, open issues, deliverables, risks, and pending decisions.
  • Drive internal teams to provide technical proposals, data, samples, test results, and formal responses on time.
  • Proactively manage information gaps, time-zone delays, and unclear responsibilities across regions.
  • Facilitate transparent, realistic, and executable solutions when customer expectations conflict with internal capabilities. 4. Product Planning and Market Intelligence
  • Collect and analyze customer requirements, technology trends, and future platform plans in the European market.
  • Track developments in battery technology, competitors, regulations, subsidies, and the European value chain.
  • Differentiate individual customer requests from broader market requirements and identify opportunities for standardized or platform-based products.
  • Support regional product definition, roadmap development, and R&D prioritization.
  • Produce regular customer insights, market observations, competitive analyses, and product recommendations.
  • Contribute to the early definition of next-generation cells, battery packs, and system solutions for the European market. 5. Business Opportunity Development and Customer Lifecycle Management
  • Work with the sales organization to identify new business opportunities and support customer strategy and technical communication during acquisition phases.
  • Participate in RFIs, RFQs, technical proposals, customer reviews, and nomination-related activities.
  • Help commercial teams understand customer decision criteria, while not normally holding sole responsibility for pricing approval or contract signature.
  • Continue to manage customer satisfaction, project performance, and next-generation opportunities after project nomination.
  • Develop customer relationships beyond individual projects toward long-term platform cooperation and lifecycle account management. 6. Cross-Cultural Team Development
  • Build an equal partnership with the Technical Lead rather than a simple front-office and back-office relationship.
  • Help Chinese colleagues understand German and European customer communication styles, decision-making logic, and organizational culture.
  • Help German and European colleagues understand the structure, development processes, and decision-making mechanisms of the China-based organization.
  • Promote direct, transparent, and fact-based collaboration between German and Chinese team members.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable cross-cultural working methods, meeting structures, and account-management standards.
  • Professional experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, construction machinery, battery, powertrain, or new-energy sector.
  • Experience in key account management, technical sales, project management, product management, customer engineering, or a related function.
  • Ability to understand complex technical products and translate customer language into actionable internal project requirements.
  • Strong customer communication, meeting facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, actions, and open issues in parallel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive internal teams toward decisions and closure.
  • Professional-level German.
  • Fluency in English as a daily working language in an international environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

We Offer:

  • Competitive remuneration based on performance and experience.
  • Opportunities for department and company-wide team building events.
  • A chance to contribute to the transition towards zero-emission transportation and the decolonization of the economy.
  • Location: Munich, Germany
  • Type of Employment: Full-time
