We're a sourdough pizza restaurant, open since September 2018 in Neukölln. Gazzo is a fun place, always bustling and busy. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, fostering an environment where both team members and guests thrive. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead the team, uphold our values, and contribute to the success of Gazzo Pizza.
Your tasks:
- Team Leadership: Assist in hiring, training, and managing a motivated and professional team that embodies the Gazzo spirit.
- Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Problem Solving: Handle issues with creativity, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
There is already an experienced Restaurant Manager who will coach you. In addition, there is an Operations Manager who oversees everything.
Your profile:
- Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality is a must.
- Passion for great food and creating guest experiences.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a positive attitude.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
