Head of Transportation & Foreign Trade EMEA (f/m/d) - Power Tools

Your responsibilities:
The Head (f/m/d) of Transportation and Foreign Trade EMEA is responsible for managing relationships with transportation service providers, focusing on the following key areas:
- Contract management
- Identification of efficiency gains via managing continuous improvement programs
- KPI management
- Leading the Transportation and Import/Export teams
More specifically, in this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for:
- Oversight of inbound and outbound freight activities and outbound carrier performance
- Ownership of the transportation and P&L budget
- Lead import/export strategy with the Foreign Trade Office Management
- Performance monitoring and cost reporting
- Invoice verification, control, and documentation management
- Transportation claims management and resolution
- Assist sales business units to find delivery solutions to customers/consignees requests
- Implementation of X-docking models
- Identification and implementation of new transportation routes
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives:
- Leading and coordinating projects across all key areas of responsibility
- Providing support for the opening, expansion, and transfer of distribution centers
Your profile:
- Relevant experience in transportation management areas
- Solid knowledge in the foreign trade domain
- Proven track record of process improvement and change management
- Experience in team leading
- Willingness to travel as required per the business (from 25% to 50%)
- Competent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Good command of English
