Founder / CEO (m/f/d)

What you will do

As Founder / CEO, you will take the helm of a fast-moving startup, leveraging the declining cost of metagenomic sequencing to build a category-leading, data-driven molecular diagnostics platform. Your responsibilities include:

• Define and execute the company's vision, strategy and product roadmap
• Drive scientific validation, product development and commercialization
• Build and lead a high-performing team and build out strategic partnerships with labs
• Drive commercial growth, fundraising and investor relations
• Take full ownership of company execution, operations and performance

• Strong background in data-driven / digital healthcare, diagnostics or precision medicine
• Experience in healthcare or diagnostic product development and/or commercialization, ideally with exposure to laboratory workflows, clinical validation and/or regulatory requirements (MDR/IVDR)
• Solid scientific and analytical judgment, with the ability to critically assess clinical evidence, technical feasibility and commercial potential
• Strong commercial acumen, ideally with experience in go-to-market, sales, partnerships or early customer traction in healthcare or life sciences
• Entrepreneurial experience in building products, businesses or new initiatives from the ground up, ideally in resource-constrained environments
• Inspiring and credible leader with the ability to attract exceptional talent, build high-performing teams and establish strong industry relationships
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex science into compelling products, business opportunities and investor narratives
• High agency, ownership mindset and evidence-driven decision-making
