Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Lead and manage all employee relations matters across European territories, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on local employment laws across France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK (for regionally aligned teams).
  • Manage works councils in regions to ensure established relationships and productive communications.
  • Partner with legal and external advisors where necessary to mitigate risk and maintain compliance.
  • Support managers through performance, conduct, grievance, disciplinary, and capability issues.

Business Partnering

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the European GM and regional leadership team on all people‑related matters.
  • Understand regional business priorities and translate them into effective people strategies.
  • Coach leaders to build capability, drive engagement, and foster a high‑performance culture.
  • Support organisational changes, restructuring, and workforce planning across the region.

Talent, Performance & Development

  • Drive the implementation of performance management processes across Europe.
  • Collaborate with managers to lead opportunities to identify talent needs, succession gaps, and development opportunities.
  • Support the design and execution of regional development programmes aligned with global People strategy.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and leadership excellence.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with regional hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective hiring processes.
  • Support recruitment for key regional positions and ensure onboarding practices create a consistent Peak experience across Europe.

Compensation & Benefits & HR Operations

  • Work with the global People team to ensure consistent application of reward policies and practices.
  • Review in country benefit to ensure remuneration and benefits packages are competitive as well as compliant with regional requirements.
  • Support salary review cycles, benchmarking, and compensation discussions.
  • Ensure accurate HR data, reporting, and compliance with internal processes.

Global HR Collaboration

  • Act as an integral member of the global HR team, collaborating on global HR projects, policy development, and initiatives.
  • Contribute to global HR systems development, employee experience initiatives, and cultural programmes.
  • Represent the Europe in global HR forums and working groups.
  • Proven HRBP experience in an international, multi-country environment (manufacturing or technical industries beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of employment law within at least one key EMENA country – Germany and France are essential experience across multiple territories is an advantage.
  • Experience establishing and managing works councils in France and Germany.
  • Demonstrated success in managing employee relations cases end-to-end.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
  • Experience leading or contributing to global HR programmes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Fluent English required; German, English,French are desirable, Italian, or Spanish would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across EMENA as required.
  • Commercially minded and solutions-focused.
  • Empathetic, approachable, and culturally aware.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Confident, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
